Alpena Man Could Face Time Behind Bars for Child Abuse

first_imgAddThis Sharing ButtonsShare to FacebookFacebookShare to TwitterTwitterShare to MoreAddThisAn Alpena man could be facing up to two years in prison and or five years of probation after pleading guilty to child abuse. 29 Year-Old Merlin Pardike will be sentenced next month after he admitted to hitting his step daughter in the head back in November 2016.Pardike pleaded guilty in court this week to a single count of child abuse in the third-degree. Other charges of second-degree child abuse and lying to a police officer were dropped in exchange for Pardike’s guilty plea.
